- Create a supermarket environment by attaching prices to some items. Have your child “shop” and be the cashier by writing out a receipt of their purchases, practicing adding up all the prices for the items and subtracting by giving you change based on the amount of money you give them. - Play this game with your kids in a group or individually. Give them a bingo card with all the equations. Cut up the strips of answers and fold them up so that the number can’t be seen. Give kids a few minutes to solve the questions before the game begins or do it as the game goes on. Open a number strip up each time and children have to cancel out the equation to which that is the answer. You can set your own aim for them to finish one line, two lines or the whole card etc.
